If you are concerned about your swimmer, please talk to the coach by speaking to them before or after the session or, if that is not possible, by making an appointment. Please remember not to go onto poolside as this could be a welfare risk.
Alternatively, you can contact one of our two independent Welfare Officers on a confidential basis.
Our Welfare Officers are:
Jonathan Williams
Saminder Watts
They can be contacted using this link: [email protected]
Both have specific training for those who have a designated role in safeguarding within sports and both can deal with any issue relating to safeguarding and welfare.
You should try to contact one of our Club Welfare Officers in the first instance. However, if you are unable to, you can also contact:
Cheryl Ellis who is the Essex County Welfare Officer on [email protected]
Fran Vesztrocy who is the East Region welfare officer on 01509 640378 or [email protected]
The Swim England Safeguarding Team can also be contacted on 01509 640 700 (Option 1 for Swim England and then Option 3 for Safeguarding) or by email at [email protected]
